Affirmation Search
Affirmation Search: Affirmation Search is any time a search is conducted with the name of your business already in it.
Where it shows up
Affirmation Search happens after awareness, not instead of it. A homeowner sees the truck, hears the ad, gets the referral, then reaches for a phone before or after the appointment to find out what should be believed. Ten questions recur more than any others: whether the company is good, whether it is worth the price, whether it delivers on its promise, whether the customer should trust it at all. It is not only homeowners. An employee considering a job, a manufacturer considering a partnership, a buyer considering an acquisition all run the same kind of search the moment they already know your name.
How it is measured
Power100 tracks a fixed set of Affirmation Search questions for every client, run monthly across the platforms people actually use to ask them, with the sources shaping each answer recorded alongside the answer itself. Movement from one month to the next, not a single snapshot, is what tells a company whether its evidence is closing the gap or falling further behind.
