The Evidence Gap
The Evidence Gap: The Evidence Gap is the distance between the company you have built and the company the outside world can actually see.
Where it shows up
A manager spends six months developing a young employee into a leader, and nobody documents it. A company absorbs a costly warranty claim rather than fight it, and only the customer ever knows. A community relationship runs for seven years without ever becoming visible outside it. None of that is a lie. It is truth that never left the building. Meanwhile a handful of angry customers, who have both the grievance and the time, post, comment and get indexed, and the squeaky wheel becomes the story by default rather than by merit. That distance between the real company and the discoverable one is the Evidence Gap.
How it is measured
Power100 diagnoses the gap question by question: for each Affirmation Search, is the evidence behind the current answer strong, thin, missing or simply outdated. Closing the gap means capturing what is real and publishing it in a form a stranger, or an AI platform, can actually find.
