Affirmation Ownership

Affirmation Ownership: Affirmation Ownership is the measure of how much of a company's own Affirmation Search environment the company controls, versus a third party.

Where it shows up

Search your own company name and look at what actually answers. Some of what comes back belongs to the company: its own site, its own published evidence, its own account of who it is. Some of it belongs to somebody else: a review marketplace, a comparison platform, a forum thread, a competitor's ad sitting beside the result. Affirmation Ownership names the difference, and it matters because a platform a company does not control can change its ranking logic, its comparison rules, or its advertising relationships at any time, without notice.

How it is measured

Power100 scores Affirmation Ownership as one of the executive dashboard tiles in the monthly Reputation Intelligence report, tracked alongside AI Findability and the count of high-risk issues, so leadership can see whether the company is gaining or losing ground in the room it is being judged in.
